Today, I went to Wal-Mart for a newspaper, some lunch, and some candy for the office.
Total change collected: 6 quarters, 3 dimes, 2 nickels, 10 pennies
Spare change collected for the day: $2.00
Add in $1 for the day, and the total is: $3.00
Overall total collected: $45.64

I saw your post on My Money. This is a great idea! Who does your investments? Or how do you do them? I was just wondering how you avoid fees, etc. investing a few bucks a day. I'd love to do the same thing.
I do my own investing. I don't invest each day, my idea is simply to collect my spare change for each month, and then invest it in a lump sum at the end of the month or every 30 day period.
I'm looking at using sharebuilder.com as a possible resource for investing. Their fees are low, and you can set up automatic stock purchases each month.
